One Dublin school says it's 'keeping some COVID measures that work' as the mask mandate lapses. PatKennyNT

"Our approach here now is wash on the way in, sanitise on the way out."As kids are coming in, everybody gets a little spray."And then everybody when they get into the classrooms we have a routine where everybody washes their hands."So you sanitise before going out to breaktime".

"We opened the fire exit at the back of the school and we had classes coming up and down that way, and classes coming in the front, which actually reduces pressure on everybody coming through the front door and going up the stairs."I suppose this is day one of the new dispensation, so we'll see how it goes"."There was no kids with masks this morning, there was no staff that I've seen so far who've worn a mask.
