Today, HBCUs have officially been brought to the main stage.
Bringston, like many real HBCUs across the country, is a new world. And arguably, a better world. I was skeptical before attending Florida A&M University — but as soon as I stepped on campus, something changed. It was more than an energy shift. It wasn’t until after my freshman year that I finally realized why HBCUs are so special.
At Bringston, Black excellence reigns, and Carroll is excited to navigate tough conversations about identity, mental health, Black athleticism and the pressures that come with all of those struggles in a modern, rich setting.
