Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said the case update came from a total of 2588 self-reported rapid antigen tests and 5771 PCR swabs.

Of the infections reported on Monday, 1360 were children in the 5-11 age group. This represented a “slight decline” in the number that was seen previously as authorities continue to monitor the impact of schools reopening. There were a total of 384 COVID patients in public hospitals, 34 of which were in intensive care.
