Nicholas Pagano, 31, of West Deptford, also faces charges of aggravated arson, aggravated assault and unlawful weapons possession, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
The injured employee suffered third-degree burns over her upper body, face and hands, and had a cut to her head that required stitches, according to the prosecutor. Pagano, authorities said, fled following the attack and remained at large as of Monday night. The victim was treated in the Hackensack emergency room, and then moved to another hospital for treatment, according to officials. Her condition was not released.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. Hackensack Meridian Health strongly condemns any act of violence,” spokesman Ben Goldstein said.

After the last two years, it does not surprise me that many medical providers may have PTSD and should be accorded counseling if they need it. These people have been stressed beyond their limits. People are still dying of pandemic issues. This man went off and killed himself.

It’s sad and crazy that despite the fact a woman was almost killed in such a vicious manner people on here find it appropriate to make jokes and reference vaccines, AOC and eyeballs. I hope her loved ones don’t see this. What’s wrong with Jersey?
