Richard Bozza, executive director of the New Jersey Association of School Administrators, said that “almost every district has had controversy” over masks. “We’ve encouraged him to follow the science and make a decision that’s uniform for every district in the state,” Bozza said. “I would love to see our kids’ smiles, for once. A lot of educators would love to see their kids’ smiles, and I think the kids would love to see their kids’ smiles,” Trongone said.“We’re going to have to look at what the numbers are, and how we’re working through mitigation. We still have to provide a safe environment for our kids and staff,” he said.
