Two years after the COVID-19 pandemic left it dormant, life will return to Sydney University’s once-vibrant campus this semester.
The social aspect of university has traditionally been valued by students almost as much as the academic aspect, but clubs, societies and tutorials have been mostly quiet since the pandemic hit in March 2020. Most lessons over the past two years have been run remotely. “We are confident that this collaborative and flexible approach will position us well to deliver an outstanding semester 1 experience for our students,” Professor Scott said. Sydney will also run many of its orientation events face-to-face.
