Classroom ventilation has been improved, and where it can't be, air purifiers will be provided, the government said.

Ms Richardson said schools had been "scenario planning" to respond to potentially high rates of absenteeism among teachers and students. 'Completely pointless': Queensland teacher questions how effective the mask mandate will be in schoolsA Sunshine Coast teacher is questioning how effective the mask mandate will be when school starts next week, arguing students will not be wearing them most of the time. The mask mandates can be strange. For e.g you can't walk in a restaurant or Cafe without a mask but you can take it off once you sit down. With Outside mandates you can be walking down the street with no one even on the same side & you still have to wear a mask, it cracks me up. Say it with me ... everyone👏is👏going👏to👏get👏omicron
