I think u mean the Big ‘C’ had a negative effect. I thought the major school’s problem, apart from lack of Govt spending on schools built of blocks and ventilation, was the absence of teachers due to virus. Many teachers have families too!

And even so, the safety mitigations that we know would make schools safer have not been provided. Does that tell us our children’s education is important to government?

I thought as much.
