Through its special education fund, the city government of Olongapo has started distributing 1,500 laptops to public school teachers to aid them in limited in-person classes.

OLONGAPO CITY—The city government on Wednesday began the distribution of laptops to 1,500 public school teachers here to help them conduct online classes. Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said the project was funded through the local government’s special education fund.At least 850 laptops were given to the teachers during the first batch of the distribution on Wednesday morning.
