Mukilteo school board votes to remove ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ from required reading list

, debate focused on the Pulitzer Prize winner’s treatment of characters of color and racist language. The book tells the story of a white lawyer defending a Black man wrongly accused of rape in the 1930s.

Embarrassing for the school district.

I never read a single book on the 9th grade required reading list. I convinced my teacher to let me use the Bible for my reading requirements.

Aaand Marxist ideology gets another part of culture removed. Don't say that at a board meeting or you'll be put of a list by a 3 letter agency. The removal of western culture by replacing it with woke ideology in the name of DIE is an assault on our heritage, history and freedom.

Perhaps the families within the MSD should remove any plans to vote yes on the school levies that the MSD will be asking for.
