In addition to changing its guidance around quarantine requirements for close contacts, CPS is shortening the quarantine and isolation period from 10 days to five daysStudents depart Oriole Park School on Jan. 25, 2022, in Chicago.
Arwady emphasized that students and staff who return to school after five days need to be vigilant about wearing masks for five additional days, and they may have to limit extracurricular activities if they can’t socially distance.
