South Dublin principal warns many schools may not be able to reopen due to Covid issues

“We will be listening closely to the Department of Education and to public health officials and we will see where that brings us,” he said.

He said he would not be drawn on speculation as to how teachers would react if the Department of Education were to insist on a return to school on January 6th.described the recent spike in Covid-19 cases as “very concerning”, but said much can happen in the next week before schools return.

Teachers what a bunch of wasters

Most are back on Thursday 6th. Just push out til the following Monday the 10th to give a few days to calm. Employers and parents not hit too hard trying to get care sorted.
