DepEd’s TV-based instruction platform reaches 18M school-aged viewership

DepEd TV, the official television-based instruction platform of the Department of Education , has already reached 18 million school-aged viewers.

Citing the same report, DepEd explained that the “same pattern was observed across all areas” — regardless of whether it was urban or rural or whether the audience was in Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao. “With these new findings, the evidence of the success of the program is clear and further reinforces the proposal for DepEd TV to become a long-term strategy of the Department, to strengthen the resiliency of the education system beyond the COVID-19 [coronavirus disease] pandemic,” DepEd Undersecretary for Administration Alain Del Pascua said.
