Johannesburg matriculant Sazi Bongwe will be packing his bags for the US after being accepted by the prestigious Harvard University. He intends studying social studies, applied maths, economics and government. Having qualified both academically, and for a financial aid programme, he tells other youngsters that the Ivy League is in their reach.

Sazi Bongwe will be packing his bags for the US after being accepted to study at the prestigious Harvard University. The outgoing head boy of St John’s College in Johannesburg achieved distinctions in all nine subjects in the matric prelims.
