The 12-year-old student died recently after he was allegedly beaten by some senior colleagues for refusing to join a cult group.

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has finally reacted to the death of Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen College.

"I commiserate deeply with the family of late Sylvester Oromoni, the 12-year old pupil of Dowen College, Lagos," he wrote.
