Authorities have revealed the strange concoction that led to multiple Brisbane students being treated for poisoning.

Redcliffe State High School staff contacted Queensland Ambulance Service before midday to treat five students but none were taken to hospital.

“Parents and the school community were notified of the incident that day and provided with support options, including access to the school Guidance Officer for those who required it,” the department said in a statement to NCA NewsWire. Students were treated at the scene after reports of ingesting the chemical mixture.
