Redcliffe State High School staff contacted Queensland Ambulance Service before midday to treat five students but none were taken to hospital.
“Parents and the school community were notified of the incident that day and provided with support options, including access to the school Guidance Officer for those who required it,” the department said in a statement to NCA NewsWire. Five patients were treated at the scene linked to the substance while a sixth was taken to hospital suffering an unrelated medical incident, they said.
