Former head of Department, International Relations and Diplomacy, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna, Professor. Tukur Abdullahi Zingiri, on Monday,

said Primary school dropouts and roadside mechanics who are into criminal activities have caged Nigerians.

Besides, he said most of the security threats was even carried out by the criminal elements, in conjunction with graduates who should have a rethink of the attrocities, but were persuaded because they have no jobs. According to him, “most of our youths who have graduated long time ago, remained unemployed. They have nothing doing to keep them busy at all times. Yet, they have to eat, clothes themselves, and sometimes ensure that they look clean at all times.

“As you know, an idle mind is a devil’s workshop. They can easily be lured into criminal activities unknown to their parents.”
