School board meeting canceled as crowd protests mask mandate

A school board meeting in Idaho to discuss a temporary mask mandate was canceled Friday due to"security concerns" related to the size of a crowd of people protesting the proposed requirement.

100 people attempted to participate in the Coeur d'Alene Public Schools board meeting, exceeding the meeting room's capacity, according to the school district and the Coeur d'Alene police department."That meeting was canceled shortly after it was scheduled to being because of security concerns with the size of the crowd waiting outside," school district spokesperson Scott Maben told CNN in an email.

Curious how many school districts are being paid with grants or other such programs or money to force these mandates that clearly the majority don’t want.

Insurance companies should stop the insurance coverage for Covid related hospitalization for the unvaccinated w/o a med exemption. Why r these people allowed to abuse and exhaust our health sys? If Insurance Co can do it for tobacco, they can definitely do it for the vaccine.

Those that stupidly refuse to get vaccinated are incorrectgly using the US Constitution to gain notarity and cause havoc and dissent and prolong the Pandemic. They will cause the spread of disease and deaths and the destruction of jobs and economy.

And how many of these protesters actually have kids or actually live it that district

They need to keep their kids home and find an education elsewhere

Any family that refuses to mask their kids or get vaccinated SHOULD NOT get free covid treatment.

Do we need Zoom meetings to protect Idaho school boards from right-wing protestors? They are more vicious than the COVID virus itself.

They do know that their hospitals have gone to a blanket in DNR for everybody, amd if you need help, you probably won't get it, right?
