THE Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has said adequate financing will help to bridge the literary gap and reduce the number of out-of-school children in the country.
Gbajabiamila said this at the public presentation of the book, titled, ‘Gamaliel Onosode Classicus, an Honourable Life.’ The book, which was written in honour of the late Gamaliel Onosode, was authored by Femi Osofisan and Olakunbi Olasope. “The government is highly interested and committed to investing in the education sector. When it comes to financing education, people tend to look at only the budget of the Ministry of Education and conclude that the funding is low compared to the standard of UNESCO.
See Gbaja, you have the power to sponsor a bill to affect change. Stop disturbing Nigerians with stupid pronouncements.
...another comedian running the affairs of state!
