Students with “qualified and approved exemptions and conditional admissions” will still be able to opt out of getting the shots, but the proposal does not spell out what those might be.
The vote comes as Covid-19 cases have been on the rise across the United States because of the delta variant.
Why don't they ask the Govt to provide a benign safe traditional vaccine like India's Covaxin, instead of going this route. Covaxin was at FDA's door and they kicked it down the road. Best safety profile, good with variants. But not one of the big boys. Kids pay price.
Poor kids.
This is wise. Unfortunately not withstanding other pressing issues, vaccines mandates will be the main issue pushed by the GOP in midterms.
