The ministry’s permanent secretary Defence Musa Istifamus stated this at a stakeholders’ meeting with the ministry’s director of education and heads of education sectors of the tri-service in Abuja.
He said, “The primary and secondary schools of the armed forces used to be the pride and envy of others as such the glory must be preserved. This is the reason why we will ensure adequate staffing and provision of instructional materials for the school.” The ministry’s director of education services Mrs. Afolake Olaoluwatonmi Taiwo in her opening remark said the ministry encourages synergy among the services in the administration of schools towards attaining academic excellence and exceptional moral standards among pupils.
