The Adamawa State Government says it only suspended boarding facilities in schools but did not close any school.
The state Ministry of Education was widely reported on Sunday as announcing closure of 30 boarding secondary schools across the state for security reasons. It said the Commissioner of Education and Human Capital Development announced that 30 Boarding Junior Secondary Schools out of the 34 in the state were deboarded with effect from 6th September 2021
