In Friday’s announcement, Premier Jason Kenney said that as of Saturday, masks are mandatory in all indoor public spaces and workplaces, except in schools.School boards can continue to set COVID-19 policies as they deem appropriate. “Why are students being allowed to be put at risk when the rest of the population is being protected? It makes zero sense,” Vipond said.
“Although I hate to say it, because it’s a really important service to society, schools I’m afraid need to be closed. They have a huge role in COVID transmission. They’re going to close at some point. Masks should not be mandatory anywhere!!!!! We have vaccinated to reduce the severity if we get Covid. Even prior to vaccination 98% of people when they had covid would have mild flu like symptoms. Look around the World, sports stadiums filled; concerts, Grand Prix, no masks

Seriously you shouldn’t be asking for parent opinions on masking considering many don’t believe or follow science. You should be posting factual articles on masks from experts so parents understand the importance.
In my opinion people are capable to decide for themselves; Why do people need to be told? No mask will protect you completely. Wear it if it makes you feel confident to stay healthy
No, let’s not mask the most vulnerable, or those unable to get vaccinated. 🙄 This election can’t come fast enough.
12 aren’t vaccinated. They have zero protection and thanks to Hinshaw’s recommendations we won’t even be tracing. Nor do schools have proper ventilation, HEPA filters. So ya, masks must be mandatory. It is literally their only protection. Covid is airborne for the love of god!!
