The Rotary Club of Lagos has put smiles on the faces of members of the visually-impaired community as it donated music workshop equipment and a freezer to the Federal Nigeria Society for the Blind. The items donated include an electric guitar, a semi-acoustic guitar, a drum set, a brass trumpet, and a chest freezer all in a bid to improve the learning experience of students.

The club also disclosed plans to build an ultra-modern library and block of classrooms for Lafiaji Senior Secondary and Oke-Suna Junior Schools. The club’s President, Rotarian Babawale Agbeyangi, made this promise in Lagos at the launch of the club’s Robotic Capacity Building Programme in the schools, recently.

Agbeyangi described the planned donation of a library and block of classrooms as one of the club’s efforts at supporting the state government in its efforts to enhance the education sector in the state.
