The government gave the directive in a press statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary,CPS, to Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, Mrs. Mary Noel-Berje, in Minna, the state capital.

It explained that evacuating the students would ensure that they are not left stranded as well as become victims of circumstances in the state.
