A senior Taliban leader has said that the role of women in Afghanistan, including their right to work and education and how they should dress, would ultimately be decided by a council of Islamic scholars.

"Our ulema will decide whether girls are allowed to go to school or not," Waheedullah Hashimi, who has access to the group's decision-making, told Reuters.

On Tuesday, the Taliban's main spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, told a news conference in Kabul that women would be allowed to work and study and "will be very active in society but within the framework of Islam." Western leaders have said they will judge the new Taliban by their actions, including how they treats girls and women.

I think we all know what role they will play

And I would imagine that there won’t be any women involved in these decision groups? Oh wait, we’re talking about the taliban, so I guess there won’t be any human intelligence involved as well.

They sound like Liberals

Dear (so called) Islamic scholars........

Guys. Just stop with this shit. Women have less rights than cattle under Sharia Law.

That's going to work out so well for the women of that country. 🤣 I hope every single women in North America realizes how incredibly lucky & privileged they are to live here instead of there where women are actually being oppressed.
