Miles Routledge, from Birmingham, claims he visited Kabul because he enjoys 'extreme tourism'.

Miles Routledge says he travelled to Afghanistan as he enjoys "dark" and "extreme" tourism

Miles Routledge, 21, of Birmingham, has been posting updates on social media about his travels since the Taliban seized control of the country. On Tuesday he told followers he had got a place on a list for evacuation from Kabul, and hours later posted a video of himself and dozens of others landing in what he described as a British Army plane.

"The safety of British nationals is our top priority which is why we have been urging British nationals to leave Afghanistan by commercial means since 21 April," the spokesperson said.

Who the hell goes to Afghanistan for a holiday ?

Look, I'm spying 👀

What a waste of a plane seat

Always wonder how come people would travel to such kind of place.

Good for her and her family. When do you plan to sue for civil damages against the Biden admin and Biden?

But yet the people and animals of Nowzad and PenFarthing are still trapped and have had ZERO RESPONSE from leaders. And this kid, who's a fool and went on vacation to a war/terror stricken country gets evacuated.....makes sense 🙄😑😒

Afghanistan for holiday !!!!

He’s gonna get some shit when his arse hits the tarmac

Bad timming for vacation!

One way of getting around quarantine.

Who the hell goes to afghanistan for holiday..

People like this, should be last to be evacuated. He made A choice to go there.

🪵

Idiot

I hope he did his covid tests before he was evacuated

So he got the seat on a flight out for someone who really needed it potentially saving their life, because he was on a jolly? 🤬

I am bored of the air time this person is getting.

A toss off Gap year , he’s supposed to be fkn educated , should have left him there.

He sounds like a bit of a pillock. He chose Afghanistan because he enjoyed 'dark' and 'extreme' tourism. '... we have been urging British nationals to leave Afghanistan by commercial means since 21 April,' the spokesperson said.

The pictures of those left behind and those hanging from that C17 undercarriage, while he sits on that cargo plane should haunt him. He didn’t need to be there occupying those resources. I hope he appreciates what others have done so he could escape unharmed.

Idiot

What a complete PRATT

Some holiday destination

If he likes dark and extreme tourist spots why didn't he just go to Magaluf?

Afghanistan isn't a holiday destination, its a god dam war zone.... he needs to see a doctor when he gets back in my opinion 😁

Why would anyone want to go there anyway?

Knob

This pillock is why the silica packet in your package says Do Not Eat.

Holiday? Idiot. Still, Afghanistan was on the green list and Spain wasn’t? Wow.

Gob 💩

should watch the basic news from time to time?!? 👀💭🤔🤷‍♂️😷

Why was he going to Afghanistan for a holiday now?

BBCWorld unrulytootsie

😅holiday

i hoped it said executed

Way to ignore the vast problem and focus on one person,p.

He enjoyed 'dark; and 'extreme' tourism, as long as he was not in danger, then he run away. Perhaps he should have stayed a bit longer, to enjoy the real darkness

Why the hell would you go there? The all inclusive resorts?

He is a gay. That's all. Amen

Hope he enjoys his chat with counter terrorism.

Interesting holiday destination

BBCWorld Now there’s a jolly chump.

BBCWorld Why the heck anybody would go to Afghanistan on a “holiday“/vacation is beyond me … and probably beyond 99%+ of the BBC’s audience! 🙄 Why not the Maldives, Bali, or Dubai!

‘Dark and extreme’ tourism. Where next the Yemen? You’d need to take your own sandwiches. Good grief, the world’s going mad.

but fuck the people that are gonna die there that cling on a moving plain? and y’all gonna be racist xenophobes once the refuges start fleeing to survive?! yep those the double standards

So this idiot is rescued ahead of Afghans who have assisted our military because he enjoys ‘extreme tourism’.

White people🙄

He could have gone to Luton. Easier to get there, cheaper, same kind of experience

Why would you? Seriously?

BBCWorld What an experience, I hope you enjoyed it now you have something to share with the generations to come.
