SERI ISKANDAR, Aug 14 — Students, especially those between the ages of 12 and 17 must be vaccinated before the reopening of schools, scheduled on September 1, said Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun.
“We must remember that children in this age group are school-going individuals. I truly hope they will be given the vaccine with the cooperation of the Education Ministry before or when schools reopen,” she said after visiting the Rumah Seri Kenangan Seri Iskandar, about 45 kilometres from Ipoh today.
“I understand that almost 60 per cent of the 150,000 pregnant women have registered for the vaccination,” she said.
Open schools, put a nurse or two in each school and vaccinate while learning. Kids have missed far too much school already.

So much wrong about what she said I don’t even know where to start. The obvious one would be speak to your colleagues in MOH whether vaccinating 12-17 year olds is the right move - then reevaluate whether schools can open. And please also consider enrolling yourself for school.
