Schools Reopen to Mask Confusion

When students in California and Illinois head back to school in a few weeks, they will have to wear masks. Florida and Arizona, meanwhile, banned mask requirements in schools. Some, but not all, districts there are insisting on them anyway. Local school leaders in Georgia can make their own choices about masking, and policies differ from one district to the next. School officials in Gwinnett County, outside Atlanta, imposed a mask mandate eight days before the new school year started last month—a sudden reversal that caught some parents off-guard.

“It has created quite a bit of chaos within a lot of families,” said Gwinnett County parent Michael Rudnick, who formed a group fighting the mandate.

as it should be. Too bad schools weren't required to use Covid $ to invest in air quality & UV-C filtration to kill C19 & other viruses that plague school families. Or think outside the box with real homeschool programs & grouping kids that hang together anyway vs same schedule

Required by their parents? Yes. Required by their school system, thankfully yes as well. My kids usually wear their masks in the car on the way to school despite me telling them repeatedly they didn’t have to. People who complain about it are whiney-ass *snowflakes*.

Georgia, Florida and Texas just said 'Fuck It... We're just going to ignore it.' What could possibly go wrong?!?

I want the option to choose the shade of color for my child.

The obesity in this picture is very dangerous in covid infections. Eating a healthy diet and exercise would do far more than masks. FYI
