that will allow more than 340,000 full and part-time employees to select from 250 programs at more than 40 U.S. schools and universities, with Target paying 100% of tuition and textbook costs.
Employees will be able to choose from both high school and college programs, along with college prep, English language learning, and various certificates and degrees., Target added that the initiative will also cover up to $10,000 of master’s programs costs within the previously chosen network of schools, which includes historically Black colleges and universities such as Morehouse College and Paul Quinn College along with schools like the University of Arizona and Oregon State University.
“A significant number of our hourly team members build their careers at Target, and we know many would like to pursue additional education opportunities,” Melissa Kremer, chief human resources officer,in a statement. “We don’t want the cost to be a barrier for anyone, and that’s where Target can step in to make education accessible for everyone.
