A police officer has described in court the wild scene he was called to at a Sydney university professor’s house that involved slashed clothes and a threatening note.

Dianne Jolley, the former dean of science at the University of Technology Sydney, is standing trial in Sydney’s Downing Centre District Court for allegedly orchestrating a fake harassment campaign against herself.

She has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including causing financial disadvantage by deception and 16 counts of conveying information likely to make a person fear for their safety. Re-reading a statement he made in December 2019, Mr Harris said he and Mr Weaver arrived at the house just after 7am.
