Gavin Williamson says Oxford students’ removal of Queen portrait is ‘absurd’

“She is the head of state and a symbol of what is best about the UK.”

His disregard for children's safety and wellbeing in schools gives him no right to comment on anything!

Why are they at Oxford if they can’t cope with the history of our nation which has shaped what we are today?

Perhaps Oxford has lost it's way & need to be taught respect.

Predominantly which race were the students. ?

Gavin Williamson is absurd.

I despise the Tories and I’m FAR from a royalist. But demands to remove a picture of the UKs head of state from one of the UKs leading universities is ridiculous. I remember uni was a place of debate, a place of ideas. Now it’s just a place to cry over things you don’t like.
