The abducted lecturer of the University of Jos, Professor Grace Ayanbimpe and her husband, Isaac have been released by their abductors after spending 24 hours in captivity with the abductors.

According to the police boss, the release followed the concerted efforts of police tactical team of the command alongside hunters and members of the vigilante group.

In another development, security personnel have been deployed to Kisayi village near Maxwell Khobe cantonment, Three Division of the Nigerian Army, to forestall any breakdown of law and order as well as a reprisal after an attack on herders by yet to be identified attackers and cattle rustlers.
