Schoolgirls buried after Afghanistan school massacre

A series of blasts outside the school during a peak holiday shopping period killed more than 50 people, mostly female students, and wounded more than 100 in Dasht-e-Barchi, a west Kabul suburb populated mostly by Hazara Shiites.

Pope Francis also offered his prayers for the victims of the attack, describing it as "an inhumane action that killed many girls as they were leaving school". Yesterday's blasts came as the United States military continues to pull out its last 2,500 troops from the violence-wracked country despite faltering peace efforts between the Taliban and Afghan government to end a decades-long war.

Today, relatives buried the dead at a hilltop site known as "Martyrs Cemetery", where victims of attacks against the Hazara community are laid to rest.

It is a pity the Biden went back on the pull out date on the 1st of May as agreed at the Doha conference and like all Biden policies the September removal of US troops is window dressing as they are being replaced with mercenaries

According to the US Department of Defense, the total military expenditure in Afghanistan (from October 2001 until September 2019) had reached $778bn....Terrible waste of money and US lives to achieve nothing.....Same as their other regime changes wars.......

All because of a paragraph or 2 taken down by scribes 1400 years ago. And these morons interpret those few words and use it to justify infanticide. It will never change until Muslims themselves sort it. No invading force will change these idiots minds.
