Nationwide 'School Walkout Day' to protest sexual harassment next week

A group is urging students and teachers to skip school or walk out from classrooms next week to protest sexual harassment in schools.

This comes after a string of sordid revelations of girls suffering harassment in schools for decades. The Nationwide School Walkout Day Alliance said the protest can be done in several ways either this coming Thursday or Friday. The first is for students - with consent from their parents or guardians - to not attend school for one day.

How will the teachers & students relationship after this conundrum. Wil teachers retain the spirit of educating their students as their own kids. Will students regain respect teachers as their source of knowledge. What will school be ? All must be addressed rationally.

Youths call out school teachers, victim-blaming and harassmentInspired by Ain Husniza, they are speaking up on sexual assault, harassment, bullying and etc suffered at school. This needs to be done. Otherwise the authorities will remain complacent with these kind of issues.
