A body has been found in the search for a missing teenage boy who fell into the River Thames more than a week ago, police have confirmed.
The 13-year-old is believed to have fallen from Tower Bridge into the river while on the way to his school, Ark Globe Academy, in Southwark, on April 20. Formal identification of the body has not yet taken place but officers believe it to be that of the missing pupil.A City of London Police spokesperson said: ‘At around midday on Wednesday, April 28, a body was recovered from the River Thames by marine units which we believe to be that of a 13-year-old who has been missing since Tuesday April, 20.
