Thoughts and prayers

This is going to increase suicide rates amongst those with chronic pain. Food for thought. There's a great difference between addiction and physiological need.

Opioid addition has been a growing issue for years, the concerns are real. Most of the comments blame Trump, but the issue has been around for several years.

jdickerson but trump said he'd spend $30K on an advertising campaign that said 'don't do drugs'

Something something Trump. Something taxes something rich fat cats something GOP something warming science something resistance via mob justice. Nazis bot something.

Voted for Donnie and the do nothing republicans. Got what they deserved.

Tragic, wish it was something simple like the environmental crisis...

Why they keep taking them if it is an issue.

Good luck on that. With GOP plans to scrape most social programs and a distaste for Friday addicts, Mitch and Paul will suggest tin cans, prophylactics and prayer. Vote them out. Vote.

I find their desire for government help to be ironic. These were the same people who were shouting for inner city crack addicts to be jailed for life. Things that make you say “of course it would be different”.

When you have no way to improve your circumstances. When their is no help in sight. When the opportunity to provide for your family is taken away. When you can no longer survive on minimum wage.... Drugs are an escape. The problem is so much bigger than opioids. OpiodCrisis

Opioids affect White folks so it’s an epidemic. While other drugs that plaque minority communities isn’t considered an epidemic. 👎🏾

They are snorting coke like it is going out of style in the cities. It won’t be long before the new rural drug epidemic will match. It’ll be the crack epidemic all over again, minus the cost of Naloxone.

Opioids are the symptom. The disease is something different.

I agree. It’s the number one reason I haven’t moved back home to BatonRouge since moving to the West coast of America to get and maintain my sobriety from heroin. I would’ve been dead at my rate of using. It’s still crippling & killing my cousins and friends back home in BRLA.

And the Administration is not doing anything about it

Opioids and meth.....town killers

Which is why their hero Trump is doing so much to address it, right?

Definitely an issue!

Just say no.
