Sabah local government and housing minister Masidi Manjun said the state recorded 160 cases in the last 24 hours. Claims on social media that a host of schools in Kota Kinabalu and neighbouring Penampang district had recorded a spike in infections were untrue, state local government and housing minister Masidi Manjun said.
“Only five schools have positive cases, namely SJK Shan Tao KK with three cases, SJK Chung Hwa Likas , SJK Chung Hwa KK and SM Shan Tao ,” he said in his daily briefing today.He said no infections were recorded at four other schools that were rumoured to have Covid-19 cases, namely SJK Yue Min Penampang, Yue Min Kindergarten Penampang, St James Likas and Menggatal Lok Yuk Kindergarten.
Meanwhile, Masidi said Sabah recorded 160 cases in the last 24 hours, which puts the accumulative cases in the state at 57,324 cases.
