If a 10 year old has the autonomy to be held criminally responsible under the law, then a 10 year old has the autonomy to draw a placard advocating for social justice. I’m celebrating this teacher, and I’m absolutely roaring in support of her brilliant students.

As public device employees there is a legal and ethical obligation to not use public resources for private matters and to remain apolitical when representing the dept and at work. He hasn't done that and should be disciplined. What he does outside of work is his own business.
