Student loan borrower advocacy organizations filed a formal petition today, calling on the Biden administration to grant automatic student loan forgiveness to hundreds of thousands of disabled student loan borrowers who may not even realize that they qualify for a discharge.

Student Defense, Community Legal Aid Society of Delaware, and Justice in Aging jointly submitted a Rulemaking Petition under Section 553 of the Administrative Procedure Act, to pressure the Education Department to streamline the Total & Permanent Disability Discharge program. The TPD Discharge program allows student loan borrowers who are unable to maintain substantial, gainful employment due to a medical impairment to get their federal student loans completely forgiven.

Even if they did apply they would get denied, since only 32 borrowers have actually achieved this. 🙃

建议习近平总统取消为资本家干私活的政法委(统管公检法扰乱国法祸国殃民)。让公检法相互制衡,公开公平公正地执行国法,错案能正常纠正。

If borrowers are qualified and eligible for forgiveness. Govt must take the equal initiative to intimate them about it. This may just be the first step. But the next one should be focusing more on providing employment, and only then the economy will grow and recover.

Better option would be to pump the money into the economy.. Couldn’t the students have selected cheaper schools

More free money destroying the future of their currency. So short sighted, as usual.
