National unity minister: Schools in Malaysia must pay attention to racial unity

Sunday, 18 Apr 2021 09:38 PM MYT

She said this is because fostering the elements of unity among the people should start from an early age and in school. “I hope after this, principals and headmasters will pay attention to this matter and avoid sowing the seeds of disunity among students,” she told reporters after the Ihya Ramadan programme for the Kota Tinggi parliamentary constituency here, today.

Halimah, who is also the Kota Tinggi Member of Parliament, said such an incident should not happen only in sports but in clubs and associations as well.At the same time, she said through the National Unity Policy and National Unity Blueprint 2021-2030 launched by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin recently, all ministries have been given the role and responsibility to promote unity in any field under the respective ministries.

What is your Ministry blueprint? (Blueprint is a favourite BIG word in Malaysia)

Thanks to selfish politicians, who has been playing the racial card then and now, the spirit of muhibbah isn't what it used to be. But rakyat generally are tolerant. It's those idiotic rhetorics and ugly show of segregation that challenges the real Anak Malaysia!

Wow national unity minister!

when was the last time she visited any school

Melayu first bullshit !!!

No no must not must not have it at all ever must implant it as they are young to hate each other then only can divide and rule besides easy to use the racial card to ask them to vote when the are legally can vote

Errrrrr.... a bit too late I suppose. You guys should have seen this coming 30 years ago when DSAI was the Education Minister. But noooo.... just to pander the Menteri, you lot at KPM screwed the lives of our future generations! Twits!

There is no racial unity, Malaysia is a racially polarised society, races do not mix together through choice. When one race gets preferential treatment impossible to have any sort of unity.
