Williamson’s a twit but the teaching unions are so obstructive & reactionary

Williamson didn’t give up his holidays from Parliament. Teachers are dealt with very unfairly.

Hold the front page 😂😂😂

We got the shorter holidays in SA, and shorter breaks. Not great for primary school children who need to play as well as learn.

Right. I’ll sit back and wait for the lazy teacher comments to roll in.

Ohh what a surprise

Weaponising behaviour is the next part of the deliberately divisive LongGovid It’s ripping friends, schools, communities and country apart My letter to The Guardian and blog on it and the insidious team EdPiedPiper here:

This is about trying to cram the children in a system of rigid targets, despite the most educationally and emotionally disrupted year. The targets should be reviewed and the children supported to learn effectively . You can't just shove more at them - it won't work.

this 'lost education' is manufactured. Children do need to catch up - with each other, with ordinary life, with life with less stress. Learning will happen in normal school time and children would be way better off if adults stopped banging on about what they have lost

Good. Stop pushing stuff you wouldn’t want to do onto teachers and students. Live and let live.

Whoever thought longer days are a good idea have no knowledge of how children learn and have never worked in a classroom.

I don't blame them, who would volunteer to be exposed to the coronavirus even more than they are, willingly ,who isn't in Broadmoor?

We need to keep the kids thick to guarantee the long term future of the Tory Party anyway

I read the title as catchup as in ketchup..am I the only one?

Teachers don’t you just love em
