- The city of Toronto is cancelling in-person learning as of Wednesday for its 247,000 students, causing Canada’s largest school district to return to remote classes as COVID-19 cases rise nationally. The measure will be in place until April 18, the region’s chief medical officer said in a release on Tuesday.
Earlier on Tuesday Prime Minister Justin Trudeau warned that Canada was entering a “very serious” third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, driven by more contagious variants of the virus.
People don’t believe that anymore
Very supportive of this move! Unfortunately the parents are struggling to accommodate it, but history has shown, the second schools open, the numbers rise! Now close the over populated malls! If the world closed up for 3 weeks, we'd all be better off!
Well shit. We called the generation decimated by WWI The Missing Generation. Do we call this one The Missing Socialization Generation? Imagine being like 6 though this...and not being able to go out and play is your norm. Holy mairde.
I just moved to your city, who wouldn't mind showing me interesting places?
