Citing their crucial role in delivering the essential service that is education, a federation of teachers once again urged the government to prioritize the teachers in its coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccination program.

The Alliance of Concerned Teachers , in a statement issued Tuesday, April 6, renewed its call for teachers to be prioritized further in the COVID-19 list.This, the group said, is after the “deaths of five” personnel of the Department of Education in Isabela.
