Majority of teachers do not back school day extensions to help...Two in three UK teachers believe pupils should be supported through sport and exercise (68 per cent) and increased creative and practical learning (66 per cent), the poll found. I can't blame them. I am sure they want to help. But teachers don't clock off at 3pm. I am not sure they have the capacity to work even more than they do.
