‘Heavy everywhere’: Easter holiday traffic grinds Sydney highways to a standstill | JoshDye91

Sydneysiders escaping the city for the Easter long weekend face lengthy delays as holidaymakers cause traffic on major roads to grind to a halt.

The Transport Management Centre said there were one-hour delays for motorists on the five-kilometre stretch between Pymble and Wahroonga approaching the M1. A crash near Wyee is adding more time to the journey, while traffic is also heavy through Tarro and Heatherbrae near Newcastle. The Princes Highway has heavy traffic from Sutherland to Engadine, Berry to Nowra, and around Batemans Bay.
