Retail clothing giant M & S are in the centre of controversy after they released a school uniform line that included a hijab for young Muslim girls. The piece of religious attire is used to cover the hair of Muslim girls and it has been made available to purchase online for the first time as a result of popular demand. The decision is being heavily criticised by parents and campaigners, who say it’s a form of oppression, whilst others accuse it of sexualising young girls.

Maybe teach Muslim girls they are the equal of boys.

No need to worry about clothes for British women as long as there are some for Muslims. Well one at least. Can’t wait to see Muslims buying all M& S collection next summer.

Responding to a market at the request of their primary customers; seems pretty standard to me. Muslim hijab: oh no, white men controlling marksandspencer cannot allow Muslim parents to control their kids with clothing. It is school uniform, control is a major part of it.

you have to cover three year olds so they won't get raped by Muslim men?.

A form of oppression Sexualizing 🤣🤣😂😂😂 GTFOH fuqqin freaks! Any oppressed sexy nuns running around out there...women who cover their hair on Sundays at church in respect for G-d...Jewish or Greek?...

gosh,,,,really Why on earth would someone have second thought of forcing todlers into this for the rest of their lives?

Some Muslim countries want to force women to wear traditional clothing. Western societies press on banning them from wearing it. Again, 'nobody' asks the women what they want. 'Everyone' seems to know it for them. Freedom

Nothing wrong with this. Catholic schools have statues of executions all over the place and no one bats an eyelid. This is simply a religious and cultural garment preserving modesty, meaning the girls who go to those schools won't be hitching their skirts up to their navels.

Not welcome here. At all.
