Jo Whiley has said she is living a “nightmare” after she was offered the coronavirus vaccine before her sister and is campaigning for Frances to be prioritised for the jab.
They should have been prioritised much earlier on in the process!
I suspect they should have included the word “only” before “now”. Right?
Only if Parent is present, to read insert of Vaccine.
Go fish.
Taking advantage of people for profits, yet again.
Already expressed my opinion under the other misleading headline that those with LDD will be invited for a jab: they always were, weren't they? Just not in a priority group.
So the guardian is just... inviting ableism now huh? In a country that’s already recently and routinely demonstrated violent reactionary bigotry - read: xenophobia - no less. What could go wrong?
This is good news. Following Marcus Rashford & Jo Wiley’s successful interventions to change government policy I am hearing that the Krankies are increasingly confident that their request to China, to halt the genocide of the Uighur people, will succeed. Fan-Dab-Idozi!
I feel awful, it’s ruined my day. /s
Delighted for everyone to get called. A rather pointless question
RoseUnwin What sort of stupid question is this ?
Sounds like a plan. How about also prioritising people in high traffic environments. Teachers, shop workers, pubs, restaurants, etc
Why have you pitched this deliberately inflammatory question? Clickbait hoping for inhumane responses and traffic from scum. They're at risk and their families & carers are struggling. Irrefutably great news that they're being offered the vaccine.
What sort of appalling question is this!!
It’s all a matter of informed consent, also do those individuals have capacity to give informed consent. This is certainly something that can’t be rushed. Best interest meetings, capacity assessment, risk assessment and DOLS all need to be in place and done properly👍
Should have been included in the clinically vulnerable group. mistake
carehome_co_uk Great news and will address a ridiculous situation as a vast majority of individuals with a learning disability also have other health care problems that make them vulnerable to COVID. This will be a massive relief for relatives and carers alike.
What a strange question to pose.
Disabled people have always been the last to be considered. Even the law was not créateur until 1995, compare to sex and race in 1974. Speaks volumes et
Good, about time. They might be no more vulnerable on age grounds but are least well equipped to realise the importance of distancing etc.
How do I feel about my decision to leave the U.K. in 2018 because I could see its government had been captured by a white nationalist movement with fascist tendencies? Validated. Not that it brings any comfort for the friends I left behind.
As opposed to being what? Euthanised? Ffs
What the fuck kind of question is that? I wouldn't even expect the Sun or the Daily Mail to ask that sort of shite.
Why would you ask this? Of course they should be vaccinated as priority
JournalismOrTrolling?
Why is this even a question?
very good news
What sort of question is this? It’s excellent news, how could it possibly be anything else?
Great news. That was pretty shocking the story about DNR status.
They should not have been left out in the first place, just shows this government are putting different groups in society as worthy and unworthy.
You deleted your old Tweet after getting slated. Transparency at its finest!
What kind of a fecking question is that?
Not really sure about why this is being asked.
nice
i read 'vacation' and got very confused lmao
Excellent news. It should have happened earlier.
