On-site practicum or internship will not be allowed for students of the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Loyola Schools until December 2021 as a precautionary measure against the spread of coronavirus.

In a memorandum from the Office of the Associate Dean for Student Formation, both graduate and undergraduate onsite practicum or internships will not be allowed for students of the Loyola Schools from February to December 2021.

Students who are required to enroll for practicum are still urged to enroll for their practicum courses, while practicum coordinators are advised to come up with alternative designs for the students in lieu of the suspension. Alternative designs may include work-from-home arrangements with practicum sites, explorations of careers in various fields, or group projects that simulate the working environment, according to ADMU.The Loyola Schools comprise the higher education unit of ADMU. The four Loyola schools are the School of Humanities; the John Gokongwei School of Management; the School of Science and Engineering; and the School of Social Sciences.
