Teachers in England have described a nightmarish term in schools in which Covid has triggered soaring anxiety levels, exhaustion and fear, driving many to consider quitting and even self-harm.

Yet another woe is me article. It's been hard for a lot of people. You need to crack on. People have become so mentally weak over the years that it's no wonder they can't cope. People would do themselves a world of good not to stress over shite they can't control.

The union at it again.

I and my colleagues are fighting a losing battle. Our determination to teach and treat children as we normally would is being severely undermined by ‘corona-phobic’ parents and unions. We do not want to teach from home, we do not want to have bubbles. WE WANT NORMALITY!

Maybe. It’s been stressful and tumultuous for lots of people and professions. One problem with large groups like teachers is groupthink. So they will tend to be in an echo chamber, maybe insulated from people in other jobs with much bigger concerns.

Why hasn’t education shut 10 days before Xmas . Come to think of it , with 5 days of herding coming up . That should be paramount.
